FREEZING COLD CINEMA
Just been to Reel cinema at Burnley this evening.
Staff said in screen 5, where our film was, the heating wasn't really working.
We asked for a reduction in the ticket price, but they refused.
So we asked for a free warm drink to take in, they refused.
The film was 2hrs 25 mins long, it was so so cold.
We were disgusted re the attitude shown to us.
Worst cinema experience at Reel Blackburn
Went to the Reel Cinema in Blackburn, what a horrible experience. Bought tickets for the VIP Lounge expecting a relaxing experience. Well there was no such thing. We bought the tickets online only for the ticket machines to not be working. The queue was extra long so had to wait. Finally hot our tickets, went in and there was no welcome orange juice which we were told would be waiting for us! Sat down and waited for our popcorn, drinks etc... I went out to ask someone and the employee said he qas sorting the snacks etc out and would bring them in. 35 mins later we were still waiting by which time the movie had already started. So I went to ask again, the employees told me to knock on the manager's door which I did and she said she would sort it, she said they were short staffed etc, to which I replied that isn't my problem we paid for the VIP lounge and now I was missing the movie she said you're not really missing much of it. If yiu want a refund I can give it to you but you'll have to come back anothet time to watch the movie. Anyway she went looking for the guy and 15 mins later still nothing. An hour into the film and after alerting him that he hasn't bought our snacks to us he eventually gave them. He was in and out of that lounge so many times throughout the movie it was ridiculous. He walked in front of us with the torch on checking who knows what! I have never had an experience like this ever! And to top it off one of the girls sitting next to us was on her phone throughout the whoe movie and kept getting up and going out then coming back in. This must have happened at least 12 times. After that they both got up and went out and came back then started talking!!! As we were leaving there was orange juice at the front on a table, WHAT A JOKE!!!!

I come to this cinema a lot and it's management leaves a lot to be desired. Always short staffed. Ticket machines inoperative and just 1 girl serving refreshments and tickets to the subsequent queue. I queued for 20 minutes and missed the beginning of the movie. On several other occasions an audience member had to go and tell the staff to turn the lights down after the film started. Staff are pleasant but a bit airy fairy if you say anything. Comfy seats and free parking is good and a cheap restaurant opposite. Handy for home but wouldn't come for a special occasion.

I purchased a reel cinema gift card for…
I purchased a reel cinema gift card for my nephew for Christmas at Blackburn reel. I confirmed he would be able to use it at burnley reel with the cashier. My nephew tried to use the card to book a film in burnley. He was unable to do so. The website won't allow him to check the balance either. He went to burnley with the receipt I gave him and was told to ring Blackburn to resolve. Apparently burnley and blackburn are running on two different systems. Blackburn could not help over the phone so he drove to blackburn as advised, which is over 20 miles for him, paid for parking, just to be told the card can only be used in store. This is useless to him as he always books online before going to the cinema to guarantee seats. I've emailed reel and received the auto reply, but I'm still awaiting a full reply regarding the problem. I thought I was buying a nice gift but it has just turned into a headache for us. No one at reel is taking responsibility for resolving the problem despite being shown the receipt.

I’d give this shocking business a minus rating if allowed ! Reading the reviews from a customers perspective it actually shows me more than I knew since rejecting them as an employer. Shocking reel hope you go out of business soon.
I went to reel cinema in morecambe…
I went to reel cinema in morecambe about 2 weeks ago to watch Jurassic world:domination with my dad and the sound was very quiet as he is deaf and missed most of what was going on even with hearing aids in I’ll never be going back there again unless the sound it louder I give it 2 stars as the seats were comfy but the sound was terrible never going back there again
What a shame!!!!
What a shame!!!!
Went to see the new fantastic beasts film in screen 7 Burnley today.
What an awful experience, first of all the whole way through there was a buzzing noise then some idiot kids kept running in and interrupting the film by squeeling really loud and then running out. Then finally towards the end they put the flood light on and blinded us all.
Ruined the experience completely.
What a waste of money!

Usually great but SCREEN 2 in Widnes needs fixing.
Usually great, and you cant knock the prices, but there seems to be a lack of quality control on some screens. The picture in SCREEN 2 in Widnes has been off centred for months and doesn't fill the whole screen and has now started becoming blurry too. Ive raised it with staff and the facebook support but still nothing has been done. When your paying for a movie you expect the experience to be good and not distracting. Please fix this as i wont be watching any new movies at Reel that are shown on Screen 2 anymore.
Won't be going again!
I've just got back from watching Spiderman at the Burnley branch. Never in all the times I've seen films have I had the experience I had tonight. People talking nonstop, the rustling of packets was unbearable. Even someone's phone went off! I won't be returning. It was a disgrace! Service was slow and the place dirty!

Issue with VIP food package but sorted instantly!
Went to the Chorley Reel cinema quite a lot recently. My boyfriend and I went last weekend to watch Ghostbusters: Afterlife and had the VIP food package too. We did walk in and not actually have our food to hand, but one of the employees James was very helpful and sorted out any issues instantly. We've been to the Reel Cinema several times and will definitely return!

The cinema in Burnley was good with great facilities and an easy online booking service. The staff were professional and curious with an enjoyable evening... but please do not use their parking as they have a faulty parking meter outside and I was fined £60 despite being told I had nothing to pay. Minster Baywatch the sites parking management adiministrators are nothing more than snakes and charlatans and I would strongly encourage the use of another cinema until the Reel Group come to their senses and fix the meter or review there partnership with Baywatch....

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. We had to cancel our booking for 007 due to one of our family contracting covid 19. Reel issued us a refund within hours of emailing them with our situation. Thank you Jordan.
On another note we visit the port talbot branch of reel quite regularly and we are impressed by the staff and management who run the place. The manager is a real asset to the business.

Weird staff
We went to see A quiet place 2 in Chorley. It seemed nice and clean and decent seats and screen. However half way through the film 2 of the staff came in and if they were watching the film that would have been fine but one chubby bloke sat next to me and my friend then went back down after about 10 seconds and then they both stared up at us for about 15 minutes. Very off putting, couldn’t keep up with the plot as they made us feel like we were in a zoo and I felt like shouting “what are you staring at!!!” Not going to go again because now I feel like I need to watch the film again because their staring put me off so much!
unprofessional not much fun
Pick and mix, ridiculously priced stale!!! Huge disagreement withe assistant .Paid online for tickets and childs ages were questioned, this had never been a problem before!! child gave his date of birth but still shook her head. The 2 assistants stood debating childs age, was then told they would let it go this time and printed off tickets.I reminded her that the child was mine and i knew age, i was then told i was rude and said they couldnt now watch the film.It was like something out of the playground. After much debate, i asked for refund which took a long long time as they couldnt operate the till.

Just been to see the latest Star Wars saga at the NEW Chorley Reel Cinema. Staff were great. Food warm and fresh, good prices And the cinema had that brand new feel and smell about it. In fact it had a REEL good feel about it (see what I did there)... It’s great Chorley now has a cinema again, I just hope people use it in the long term. All in all a good night.
